Save Environment By Clicking "Search"

Have you ever thought about global warming? What's come up in your mind when you heard that phrase? Environment saving? If your answer is yes, there is a new way to help saving the environment, by clicking “search” button in some websites. It's pretty simple isn't it?

Well it isn't fraud or anything. Logically it's plausible. The Google has a program called Adsense. Adsense is one of many ways to earn money from the internet. The website administrator can place some advertisements and search boxes from Google. If someone clicked that ads or that search box, the administrator get some money.

That's how some organizations earn money for saving environment campaign. Don't worry, the search result will be the same as Google's.

Here's few of the sites:

Forestle, with Google search engine. Every search you make will save 0.1 m² of rain forest. So far Forestle has saved over 31,741.4 m² of rain forest.

Znout, created by same organization as above. Every search with Google will make some CO2 emissions. So Znout covered it by buying energy certificates.

Ecocho, with Yahoo search engine. Every 1000 searches, Ecocho will be able to plant 2 trees. So far there are 6173 trees have been planted.

Go save the planet!
